DESKRIPTION:
This project involves the design of covered stands for a football field located in Sofia, Bulgaria. The structural system of the stands is based on reinforced concrete, forming a solid and durable foundation. Beneath the stands, there are four levels of functional spaces, accommodating various facilities such as training rooms, fitness areas, and a shop dedicated to football team awards.
The roof structure of the stands is designed as a steel framework, topped with a membrane covering to provide protection from weather elements while maintaining a lightweight and modern appearance. The combination of reinforced concrete for the base and a steel-membrane roof ensures both stability and aesthetic appeal, making the stands a functional and visually striking addition to the football field.

The design focuses on creating a clear, orderly spectator zone that enhances visibility, circulation, and spatial organization along the field’s perimeter.
Special attention was given to maintaining a balanced relationship between the bleachers and the open landscape, ensuring that the intervention integrates naturally into the suburban context. The project follows essential architectural principles of accessibility, safety, and user comfort, resulting in a simple yet coherent addition to the sports facility.
